Community Partner Contributions
The Whatcom Community Health Insights population health indicator platform was developed through an iterative community engagement process involving more than 40 local partners and organizations. Partners participated in multiple meetings to propose, refine, and provide feedback on potential indicators, dashboard development, and narratives. Over a dozen data workgroups were formed, focusing on key health topics such as access to care, youth and adult behavioral health, transportation, perinatal and early child well-being, housing, food systems, community safety and violence and more. Data workgroup members were actively involved in reviewing and finalizing the platform after their input was incorporated. Whatcom County Health and Community Services staff also participated in the data workgroups as it related to their areas of expertise. We are deeply grateful for the commitment and contributions of our partners and staff in creating this resource. Thank you!
We welcome ongoing feedback and input to ensure this resource remains relevant and useful. Please use this link to provide feedback or make a request.
